In 2014 the design team of Kolowag developed a new design of a double pocket wagon for transport of trailers, mega-trailers, containers and swap bodies. The main advantage of the Kolowag design is the preparation for installation of ELECTRICAL SYSTEM which can power REEFER TRAILERS and REEFER CONTAINERS.

In 2015 KOLOWAG invested in a modern line for production of new tank wagons. The line is equipped with hi end automatic welding equipment of ESAB. The production of the new wagons is fully organized according to TSI requirements. The Quality Management System keeps the production process under control and according to the prescriptions of ISO 9001:2008.

KOLOWAG has the welding certificate EN15085-2, the relevant certificate EN ISO 3834-2:2005 and Non-distructive Testing Ultrasonic Control and Magnetic Control according DIN 27201-7:2006. The welders are certified by TUV- Reinland for different types of welding procedures.
